Congrats on the sale. I bet you could get a decent amount for the stock head with some of your at home porting! I did the head on my 22 grom but decided not to do it on the monkey. I was just lazy I guess.

For you guys that use cameras, what's a good one? It's only a few bucks more than the x3. I'd like to have some vids on my rides, nothing like a YT vid, motovlog, or anything like that. I have never fooled with video cameras. I was given a GoPro Hero 2(maybe) a few years ago but have never used it.

I've been watching "vs" vids on the insta x4 and x3. Seems like for the $30 price difference...the x4 would be the best one.

If I were buying a camera now I'd be looking at the insta line instead of the gopros. Gopro software sucks now, and their hardware hasn't innovated in years IMHO outside of their stabilization getting better. Insta's GO 3 intrigues me since it can separate into a tiny little guy but the shots you can get with their 360's are so cool.

I'm not up to date on all the video stuff, but I do like how that 360 will get all kinds of angles. I really just want something to get some rides on.

I’be been looking on and off at the “Go” series, for a year now. Do dig the 360 and what it can do. but think I wouldn’t use it to it’s potential. That’s just me though.

I have the Go Pro 9 and the latest edition of the Insta 360.
Go Pro sux, look into the Insta lineup. The 360 will have a home on the bike this summer.
However, I am still learning the editing on the 360. The video and field of vision is excellent.

Yeah, not sure that it would pay off price to time wise to port it vs just selling as is.

The stock piston is going to be cleaned up and added to my desk art at work as i doubt i could get any money for a used stock piston (and cylinder). The stock head might have some value. But I believe the stock headpipe (with catalytic converter) and stock air box will have some decent value.

Well my hwk jacket showed up but not the pants. They said it will be delivered Saturday. HELL NO! So I started a chat and they rescheduled it and said it will be here tomorrow. I need them to wear Saturday. Anyway crisis averted.
BTW the jacket fits perfectly. Now I just hope I got the right size pants :bikewhoops:

It's 21/70F here and I'm roasting in my cheap mesh jacket, I have no idea how anyone can wear leathers shy of pure highway.

I have a black icon textile and a no-name mesh, I'm deciding between a better quality mesh jacket, or going MX jersey with pads (no highway, just city and dirt roads)upload_2024-5-9_19-30-51.png
