Wont start

    Photos of the “alarm button”. Photos of the battery and fuse box area. Is there anything that looks ‘aftermarket’ wired in anywhere?

    Disconnect battery and put it on a charger for a while. With battery disconnected, try starting (to drain off any stored energy in system). Hook up battery and try starting again. Go step-by-step and describe what happens. (First detent, dash lights come on; second detent, fan comes on; turn-and-hold, clicks but doesn’t turn over…)

    Kinda hard to diagnose without more details.

    not having a spare key is a big issue. You should make that a priority when you get your truck straightened out.

    Turns out my ecu got fried somehow. Mechanic thinks it was from someone putting the jumper cables on backwards. I’m not a big car guy or anything but I know how to put jumper cables on…
