A chilly day here! Cloudy and 55* high. Winds not bad, so I’ll be happy to get outside.
Thinking of all who have health issues today. My heart goes out to you. I feel so fortunate! I only seem to break or tear things on my old body. My own childish fault.

Today we’re in Skagway. Not sure what all the wife planned but I know we are going to a sled dog training place. Being a dog guy (and of course a cat guy) I know the sled dog thing will be fun. Last evening I saw several whales surfacing about 50 yards from our balcony. The show went on for 20 minutes or so. Several bald eagles around here to.
Saw a very funny comedian last night (and no swearing or sexual jokes, rather refreshing). The food is my downfall, plenty of it and beyond fabulously good. My shirts are already getting snugger. When I get home I’ll be on a diet and doing triple workouts.
It’s about time to go see the sled dogs. See ya

Reminds me of Peter Pan’s song “I won’t grow up”…LOL!

I remember Skagway being similar to Disney World…crazy paint jobs!

Strange. I posted an answer to someone. I (unintentionally poked the same thread) and my post and the one I answered were missing.

Ok, ill play. Seems I woke up one day and realized I was over 60! Crap doesn't really feel like it... most of the time anyhoo.

Interesting as I spend more time on this forum, I need to get away from some of the gen z and younger populated threads. Values have changed thats for sure. Not the WWII gen I looked up to.

Anyway on a non Debbie downer note I'm lovin' hangin with the grand kids. It's a whole new world than raising kids when I was young. In a good way, Being able to spend time with em' is quite an overall blessing. Seems almost common anymore raising grandkids in todays world, at least tempararily. Any one on this side route too?

I also enjoyed the ride up to the activity. If memory serves me right the vehicle had 3 gears in reverse.

Welcome to the thread. Lots of information you will need in 4 to 5 years.

Good morning. I have the cold my wife had earlier in the week. The irrigation company is coming out today to set up the system for the summer. It is going to be expensive because I know there are 2 sprinkler heads that need to be replaced. Baseball game tonight then down to the beach tomorrow.
