Once you have had gravel dirt ect scrubbed out of your road rash you won’t mind being a little hot in leathers. Trust me I know.

Thats very valid, my dad said his mom had to tweezer out gravel from his skin one time.

I think a quality mesh makes the most sense for me. I have a full abrasion jacket for higher speeds.

You also need 4000 hours of watch time in the last 365 days. I somehow have 3400 subscribers (mainly from a 15 second clip of a Great Lakes freighter) but only 1000 hours of watch time so I don’t qualify for anything. Since I don’t intend to make a living from YouTube it really doesn’t matter to me.

Oh no Iam talking a black scrub pad and iodine at the hospital. It was brutal. I was crying the whole time and just about passed out when they put me in the shower to rinse off. Never again.

The Klim Induction is what I wear when it’s hot. Heavy duty but still a lot of airflow. Even in the upper 90s it’s pretty good as long as you’re moving. Sitting still there isn’t much any jacket can do to keep you cool.

Whoops, forgot about that part. Most of my videos are 15 minutes + so I hit that pretty early on. Right now I'm at about 550-600hrs/mo. When my Navi videos were at their peak a year or two ago I was above 1k hours/mo.

I'm pumped I'm monetized, it's parts money basically, but I have no illusions of ever making any serious money off it and haven't really let it change how I'm doing anything. Aside from posting a couple times in a couple places (including here a couple months ago, thanks y'all lol), and occasionally commenting on Grom posts on Facebook with relevant videos to answer peoples questions I haven't pushed or promoted my channel a ton. Shit I haven't even put out a video in a month.

Gotta come ride with us down here then! That’s pretty much 95% of our forest roads: rock and gravel on top of the dirt. It’s a lot of fun…once you get acclimated to what these dual sorts want to do on it. I don’t know how much I’ll be riding the scrambler on it once I get it rebuilt though.

ive ridden a lot of gravel roads on dirtbikes and atvs since all the country roads out here are that. im just not a fan of it since its just loose rock thrown on top of loose rock... it can be fun but it can bite you in the ass when ever it feels like it tbh...

Our gravel isn't real thick. Is really just some pebbles thrown on hard dirt  It's not like the feel of riding in sand where the ground moves around under you. The green DRZ would be a blast on it :D

ya what we have up here is layers and layers of rock on top of each other so its loose af! even in trucks and cars if you dont know how to drive fast on it you will crash haha. thankfully i grew up on it thou so i know how to handle it!

ill for sure have to come down one day and ride with you all! but it wont be green when doing offroad stuff thats why i got the yellow plastics remember! lol

This is what most of ours looks like. It's pretty solid. You can still roost somebody though
