I had to go back to work in my wife’s jeep to pick it up. My compact 1/2” drive didn’t have a chance. This one pushed the joint right out but after freezing the ball joint and heating the LCA it still struggled to set the new one.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
I took mine in to @Discount Tire my local shop has been doing tires for my family for probably 10 years now. Very happy with Discount tire.

Toyota Certified Pre-owned apparently does not include checking the tire balance, or making sure that the rims aren't bent.

Three of the four balanced no problem, the third needed 6oz to get it right. I guess new rims may be closer than I thought.

AT 61K miles and felt it was time to replace the front brakes with all the shit I have bolted on.

    Driver side OEM brakes.

Behold the Powerbrake X-Line 4x4 Big Brake Stage-1 in Red. Sourced from Sibibuilt and finally had time to install 'em at home.

Total job took 5 hours for both sides. Hardest part was finding someone to help bleed the brakes.

Here's the current state out things

Can the brake shield just be removed or does it have to be cut?

Can be removed by knocking the wheel bearing off but i didn't want to bother with that. The dust shield is malleable and made it easy to grind off

Basically finished/operational. Would still like a tab welded on the tc bed stiffeners so it can be drilled/tapped and bolted to the platform base for 4 points of attachment. I’m impressed with how it turned out and kept my main objective's of no additional holes added, easily remove slide from bed if needed while keeping platform base/mat behind, minimal added height of 1/4”.

trying to find the holes for the mat was not as precise as I’d of liked- it was close but a few had to be wallowed out making the holes slightly bigger than the spacers. The spacers are the thickness of the thickest part of the mat, so basically the mat is just floating in that space and not screwed down when the slide is bolted in.

with the way I have the bed layout I had very little room for error. The rsi clamp location is set which put the divider right up against the clamp for an ideal partition of front to rear. We have a weekend trip to make in a few weeks and looking forward to put to use. At least no more Jerry rigging it with a strap/ 4x4 and it constantly shifting- was a hassle and just annoying.

I have a question. My stock tires are 17”, my spare is 16”. Will a 17” spare fit underneath ? I have brand new 17” Michelin all season tire that was given to me (same exact size as my stock tires), kinda wanting to swap it for the 16” spare tire. Just curious.
