    No offense taken!

You'd be surprised at how tiny changes have a massive effect when it comes to shoving something through air. Even at 60 MPH. The more you learn about aerodynamics, the more you understand just how horrifying of a dark art it is, and how little you know.

Sticking little gubbins as small as this:
onto a full size Cessna's wing will change the speed at which the wing stalls, dramatically so.

This little tumor on a 3rd gen's side view:
    tacoma.jpg
That's not there for no reason.

Channeling the air around the front tires is one thing, then also the mud guards / fender liners being able to catch air is another.

I've been down this rabbit hole, and it scares me.

Nubs like that are an NVH thing though more than economy. That said, I lost 2 mpg when I added my stubby bumper to my Jeep and I doubt it was just the 100# of bumper and winch. Breaking up the front with a bumper or cutting can do more than you think.

12 OR DCSB 4x4 265/75/16 Goodyear Ultra Terrain wrapped on MB352's. OME 886's w/5100's front and back, and Dakars. Derped Emblems. KM Fab sliders, Mobtown Front and back bumpers w/tire gate, KM Fab Bed Rack, Bestop Supertop, Matt Gecko bed lights. Tree Smashed Taco 06 OR AC Prerunner! OME 885 with 5100's in front, TSB and AAL with 5125's in back. 30" light bar in the valance.
Thanks dudes! Finally going to get my truck registered here in Arizona come the 23rd. I have a Level III inspection scheduled to get Clifford's title to Rebuilt status. Bumper is going back on tomorrow evening. I have front bumper frame support brackets by C4 FAB showing up next week. I needed to replace the bumper frame plate, so that's getting welded on tomorrow.

I replaced the inner, outer tierods, and new front 5100's.

A huge thanks to @snowsk8air2 for the install of the JD Fab Lower Control Arm Pivot that was done back in November. He also installed new CV's, a drivers side spindle and both LCA's with Icon LCA skids. He was able to modify the AllPro Aluminum Tranny skid to work with the JD Fab kit.

Clifford's got 229k miles now and still going strong.

I've got a Badlands 12k winch to install.

Last year I got an AllPro Aluminum gas tank skid.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Thanks to the dog on trail during a recent hike my left arm is "highly functional" but not going to risk banging it. Right arm OK.

I am good to hand over tools with my left and be mechanical with right hand, and to ask an annoying number of questions about secondary busses and suspension part.

I will bring my "totally rad" toolset though. If nothing else I have a B&D drill with 3 fully-charged batteries. :D

It was fine. I think it held up great. I abused the hell out of that liner with all kinds of stuff. Only thing that made it look bad was deer blood. But that was a good problem to have...

I would not hesitate to do a bumper in the 2 part epoxy stuff. The rattle can seemed less grippy. But I moved a shit ton of wood in that trailer, and no damage. So maybe I am too critical of it. I will try to get a pic of the side where I tipped the trailer going too fast on a side-sloping hill on a forest service road and dragged it on the green side. Surface scratches, but doesn't look any worse than something scraping by it (if that makes sense).

Last map I saw showed you might not even need to head much north of Phoenix, just outside city lights

Took a pile of elk steaks out of the freezer and made a side dish.

Gathering up some Taco stuff and hoping to get a few things fixed tomorrow and meet a few folks.

Awesome. Picking up the tacos now. I'll have 4 jack stands with me, 2 tall enough for trucks and 2 lighter duty ones that will be good for holding up my spindles or something like that.
