I guess the key is to go to a junkyard in South Dakota where the good parts aren't all stripped on day 0.

What are you stuck on--deciding what you want or finding the actual parts?

I've pretty firmly decided on lc80 axles. But finding them or a rilled/totalled donor is near impossible.
So I occasionally consider jeep dana 44s and quickly decide I'm to masochistic for a drivers *side* drop lol
