Well a couple days ago I tired to drive my prerunner up these stairs, I could only go up the first block, when I tried to get to the second block the left rear tire just spun, then it would lift off the ground. The right rear tire didn't even move.
    These are the stairs

First that LSD is not really for rock crawling. It needs power up to fully lockup. So you can not expect to work like a locker. It takes little different driving skill to work that thing.
Also how did your maintenance look like ? When oil changes where done with what ?

    ^^^^
First problem right there. limited slip burns oil quickly. Mine blackened after 12K on factory oil. If you have synthethic then maybe you can make it to 35-40K miles but not on dino.
You are way overdue on the diff oil change. I would start with that first and see if you get improvement.

Dino oil, and the GM addative seem to be the most consistant. Depending on use, plan to change at 15k miles (if extreme use, like repeted water submersion, towing, etc.), or 30k miles (normal off roading).

I have a feeling my oil is going to smell horrible, I tow a lot up hill and have had my axle under water a lot,,,should I use a 12p 24 socket or a 6p 24 socket?

As Chris4x4 said sure winner is Dino with GM additive (read sticky in Tech section)
I have Mobil Delvac with GM additive and it worked for me but I am going to say if you are not into cars go with Dino oil and more frequent changes:thumbsup:
Now that does not mean oil change will improve your limited slip. Not right a way for sure. Friction plates have diamond cut if that's get filled with gunk they simply slip. May take some time for the gunk to be washed by fresh oil.

Use 6 p socket. ALways , Start with the fill plug first, Do not touch drain plug until you have removed fill plug.
BTW when did you changed front diff and transfer case ?

I think the picture he posted was to show the steps and not the truck, or are you questioning the fact that he said FTW?

I dont like the 6 speeds in the Tacos. My Dodge has a nice 6 speed, and manual trans-case, and I like it. Its 8000#'s but that cummins makes easy work of its mass.
