What others are out there that are either extremely engaging, or instructive, or both?

They are awesome and have a great channel and merch. I like there 300k mile maintenance chart to keep you on track.

 

Definitely not Timmy the Toolman! He was in here for a while and got banned for being a dick to other members on here so I stopped watching him.

 

CarCareNut is good. He rarely talks anything about Tacoma's or the 1GR-fe engine though.

 

Car Care Nut, Chloe Kuo, West Coast Taco and Team Oil Drop are all excellent channels that are worth a follow.

I watched a lot of South Main Auto videos because his rusty/salty climate is similar to mine. Eric is an exceptional diagnostician and is very practical. Not much Tacoma content though.

 

This guy offers the sagest advice and it's not only Tacomas.

besides channels I have a few videos I’ll return to every so often, ‘will it rally?’ And their 2nd gen Tacoma video is very entertaining. Wish they did more than 1 video on that truck.

Timmy knows his shit. I'd watch 10 of his videos and learn tons of useful wrenching tips vs. watching Care Care Nut who is a nice guy and shares alot of wisdom but usually leans more towards narration / opinion vs. the finer details of a specific procedure.

 

Kflo Tacoma on the YouTubes is solid. Has a lot of step by step instructions that he does with basic tools in his driveway.

 

Maybe he does. Maybe he doesn't. I wouldn't support someone like him after interactions with him on TW.

I’ve been watching his stuff for years and I met him a couple years ago in person, he’s a genuinely nice guy and really intelligent and knows his stuff. I told him I was a big fan and I couldn’t believe how long he spent talking to me while he was manning the Diamondback booth at a big outdoors show. He has great variety in his content nowadays too.
