Thanks! I've had plenty enough seat time for sure and some old videos on youtube. I went to visit that school when my sister lived in Vegas. I was trying to only do one day vs. two and they wanted to talk to me. They were dead set on not believing I know how to heeltoe based on looks or age?

My other vehicle is a first gen 2004 Tacoma.

 

just picked up my 3rd gen, still have my '99 Tacoma Regular Cab 4x4 5-spd but will be selling soon, keeping the 2007 Subaru STI Limited (#237 of 800) and the '96 Toyota Hiace 4WD 5-spd imported from Japan

 

How's that Hiace drive?

 

Like a bag of rocks, have a set of Bilsteins and fresh engine mounts that will change that though, otherwise it's a ton of fun

 

Been watching them on various importers for years, was hoping to get one one day.

 

I feel like imports have really picked up the last few years and i love seeing them. I'm seeing a lot more jdm stuff at cars and coffee

 

It's cool, but the prices are climbing faster than I can save

 

The Tacoma/Highlander combo can't be beat.

Yup. And sad to say, my interest level has gone down because of that.

I'm still trying to pick up a Lancer EVO 8/9 before they get too expensive.

 

Non sporty versions aren't too bad atm

 

I'd like to think we got a pretty good set up going here. Truck stuff/hunting/offroad fun in the taco, Highlander family hauler and shenanigans with the boys on the bike! Trifecta IMO!

My project truck - 1985 Nissan Bushmaster 4x4. It’s a converted Nissan 720 King Cab, a company in Cali in the 80s took a couple thousand King Cab Nissan 4x4s and converted them into basically 1st gen 4Runner SUVs. It’s not a pickup anymore, has a full back seat but only 2 doors like a 1st gen 4Runner. It’s been in my family since my parents bought it in 1986. I learned to drive in this lil truck. Lots of sentimental value.
