It needs bush hogged. Hasn’t been touched since last fall. The price she told my wife isn’t worth me hooking it up… $45

 

She’s out of her mind. The couple lawn guys I know here charge that to cut a basic yard per week.

 

Exactly. I won’t hook it up for less than $100. I’m not trying to be mean about it but when you figure what a tractor, bush hog, time, and fuel cost….$45 ain’t much when you do that.

Old people are cheap asses. $45 was lots money in 1950... like i said i figured her offer wouldnt even cover gas...then if you did do it next time she'd only give you $40...you arent a mowing buisness you dont owe her to mow.

 

Neighbors think that because you neighbors, you should just come over and do stuff for nothing. It happens me where I live. There are a couple different neighbors that wait for me to get home a shower. Then, show up asking if I could help them now. I would rather be asked if I could help and when would it be convenient.

 

She’s probably close to the same age as me

Yesterday I tried the MityVac on the push mower, power steering reservoir and oil for the Tacoma. It worked as advertised but I encountered one problem - getting the 5 foot tube to the botton of crankcase through the dipstick. I ended up putting it on a drop spreader and fishing it through the grill. I figure I’ll do this every other oil change to save on crush washers .

Was able to trade some bee work for the mount my son got, he wanted bees in a bad way so he came over and had been mentoring him in beekeeping and initially traded him half of the fee for my sons mount, we became friends and was dropping off another hive this am to him and he tells me he has a surprise for my son I was in awe, I asked what the balance and he said a hand shake we are good.

Last night I took my wife out to dinner and to an Alabama concert just over the state line in Orange Beach, Al.

Seeing Alabama, while in Alabama, with my wife being from Alabama, with a bunch of other people from Alabama, there was a lot of “Roll Tide” and

Randy Owen is gettin on up there but they put on a great 2 hour show.

 

Eddie, I’ve been meaning to ask, do you work in the tallest building in Winnipeg? All your pictures seem to be much higher that the rest of the buildings. When you can see that is lol

Yes indeed Good Sir Been on top of most of ‘em here & other cities too. Try to make a point of seeing the days start & quite often its conclusion. Grateful I can feel that Energy. Kinda makes you feel right sized.
