Accessing OEM settings on pioneer headunit

I have a 2020 I bought pre-owned that has a pioneer 7600 nex headunit. Is there anything I can add to be able to access the OEM settings? I came across some other threads where people where able to access them. I don't know what maestro was used to install, haven't had the dash a part yet

 

If OEM settings isn’t available to click on, they probably didn’t use a maestro RR. You could pull it out and look at it. Just need a 10mm

 

Should be pretty easy to pull out and see if they used a Maestro, but seems like they didn't

 

Dang, I figured if you're going to spend 1500 on a headunit you're going to do it right. I guess I'll pull it out today and see what kind of shit show is going on in the dash

 

You guys are correct, no maestro just this universal steering wheel controller. I don't know why they'd cheap out on that with such a nice headunit, the maestro will add so many features. Not what I was wanting to do but I guess I'll buy one and try to figure out the wiring.


But I now have another problem.. my truck has the 360 degree cameras. I figured out how to access them on the headunit after some tinkering around, now my headunit is stuck on the camera screen.. none of the buttons do anything, when I turn my truck on it goes directly to the cameras. The button on the dash just switches between the camera views

 

Have you tried to put it in gear to see if it goes away?

 

Yes but just sitting in my driveway, I believe you can only use the cameras below 25? Mph or so, hopefully once I go for a drive it'll go away. I gotta run some errands in a bit.

 

On my aftermarket Kenwood, when I press the rear camera button it turns the camera on until I press it again and it goes back to the Home Screen.

 

Most likely scenario is a shop installed it, and they aren’t comfortable installing the maestro product (or they make more margin on the pac products) and they didn’t even tell the guy about his options. I heard that so many times. “That’s just what they installed”

 

So I figured it out. Turning on the truck while in reverse the headunit would turn on as normal, anything else it would just stay on the panoramic camera. When I was playing around in the settings I had changed the camera polarity setting from battery to ground. I was able to start the truck in reverse and switch the setting back to battery
