I live in a rural area and they have been tarring and chipping the roads. Been raining a whole lot so I haven't had time to clean out the inside. Fact got muddy at the dump today. Gotta take out the mats and warsh them down :annoyed:

The fact that this question was asked about a truck saddens me.

“Why you do truck stuff? this is supposed to be for Instagram car”

Is Hawaii being the largest Tacoma market based on VINs per state-licensed driver, or simply the total VIN count in the state?

Basically 2 pieces, he talks about Toyota's massive debt and issues with deflation and yen devaluation and how that may bite them. Then he pivots to though they are on track to own 2/3 of all sales this year, there is no doubt they are having issues with their new products and consumers are indicating this along with unreasonable pricing based on perception and how that may bite them or they did it purposely based on the first piece. Ben is a good non biased tuber, he does all brands and reviews and is well versed in the market. Funny how the talking pieces here he almost says verbatim.

He said it right at the beginning that quality and reliability has been eroding. I've been saying it since the 2010's.

If they think they are going to get away with passing the outrageous prices of 65,000 for a brand new Tacoma they're high and eventually their stock is going to crash because no one wants to pay that price when they can go out and buy a fully loaded full size truck from the USDM with all the bells and whistles for equivalent or less than what they are charging for a Tacoma.

    "Toyota. Moving Backward."

100% agreed, especially when the end product isnt much different as far as QDR. The last buyers/holdouts will be the people who drive one based on perceived image.

Right, and even then there is a small shelf life to the holdouts and last buyers once the clarity of that perceived image has been shattered which I feel is happening as of current.

For whatever it means (if anything) I was at one of the busiest Toyota dealers in the PNW yesterday for my 20k service and there were 10 new Tacomas on the lot. It was a nice Saturday and there was no one there even looking at them. They were mostly SR5s and were around 46k. They also had a 2wd that was more than 40k. Will be interesting to see if these things sell, those prices just seem insane to me.

I can understand why they are still there and there are no ORs.

Really, how is Toyota "killing it?" Do you have numbers or anything to support that besides your opinion? And my algo is anything car related, Ben does reviews on cars and the market in general for all brands.
