That'd be better placed in the marketplace section.

I can only imagine how LONG that trip was good lord yall are beasts.

My givi crash bars were all beat up n bent when I got my bike, bent them back to mostly where they should be and welded up the cracks n painted. You dont need to take off the left side plastics fully to get to the radiator cap or the tank bolt on that side if needed.

Oil is only marginally overfilled with one gallon according to spec with filter change by 0.4 of a quart - 11% on the 3.6qt spec. On the semi dry sump style of this motor really not an issue. I just dump the whole 4qt jug of Rotella T4 in the motor when doing an oil change, puts me ever so slightly above the full mark on the sight glass, zero issues in 7k miles like this and I BEAT on the poor thing.

Good to know. I was worried it'd over pressure it or something. Mine is currently just under the halfway point on the sight glass.

Oh, and the filler cap is cracked. Thin little crack, but something to replace.

Well I have two free consultations with implant specialists. One on Wed and one on Thursday. I want to make sure I am getting multiple estimates and find the best fit for my situation.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
On the topic of protective gear...

I fell off once, tucked the front end low side and slid right off the outside of the curve. Damn cage had stopped in the middle of the road right around the bend to watch turkeys!

Bruised but not busted (I told the doc I fell off a ladder)

But the worst,.... I slid right through a wicked patch of poison ivy.
Gloves and leather coat saved me mostly, but my wrists got the rash BAD! A couple weeks of hell, with itching and oozing blisters.

    Be careful out there!

Could that "overfilled oil" be due to fuel leaking in?
Common issue when trailering a carbed bike with the fuel tap open. Jiggles the float. Shouldn't be an issue with F.I.

It was overfilled when I picked it up.

I had no idea that could happen on a carburetor bike, though. I'm FI all the way.

Just got back from a ride on the FZ1. Freaking crazy people all over today. Almost got hit at a 4way stop when the car across from me left out of turn and missed me by about 12” . Well I was paying attention so I wasn’t really in danger but shit people. There was a car to my right that was supposed to go even before her. Then some lady going 10 under on her phone swerving. At a stop light I turned right and went passed her and signaled to put the fucking phone down. Then some one coming at me had a green light I was turning left annd had a blinking yellow and the car came to a stop at a green light. I was well ok I guess I will go. That was just going from my house into snohomish to fill up and about 5 miles. After that I headed out to the back roads where I had a nice leisurely ride. Love this bike. Now I need to get the new mods done. Stay safe out there crazy people be out today.
