It sure would be better than taking the sway bar off full time.

I got the unit in on Friday. No major issues while driving around the weekend and yesterday. Only issue I've ran into was it disconnected once while driving. I had to take out and reinsert the USB. Fixed it. Automatically connects, which is great. I just have to select android auto on the head unit for it to open up. For $40, it's a good deal.

Always loved that Blue color. I think it's the best color Toyota ever put on a truck in my opinion.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
3D printed I see, any chance you would be willing to share the CAD or STL? I've got a twin to your truck ('22 TRD OR Manual) and a printer. I'd like to add a mount for some flashlights in that very location.

Yeah, I love my MGM Taco, but would have taken that blue in a heartbeat if it was still around.

    Ok ITmaD,
Quick consultation here. I just got all the same hood light kit parts.
I’m no electrician so couple questions from your install.
-do I need to rewire the fuse onto the red wire from light strip to battery?
-and then connect red/black wire from light strip into switch and the other wire from switch to a ground?
-does it matter which wires from switch are used for ground & to light?
    Thanks in advance!

Here is my artist rendition of it below lol. No need to rewire the fuse as long as it's in line it should be good, I wired the button to the end of the ground cable coming from the bar and from the button to the ground on the truck.

So I could hide the wide behind the weather stripping I did need to add a few inches , you can get wire from home depot or anywhere else that sells spools of wiring.

Awesome, thanks. Does it matter which switch wire is used for power & ground?

Fuse should go on + wire from battery to protect against a short. If a wire shorts to ground anywhere along the - side all that happens is the light stays on.

the fuse and button should interrupt the + wire as early as possible (from the battery), leaving less chance for a positive wire to accidentally get grounded and keeping the positive away from the device until it is needed.

that is better than first recommendation.
edit: btw: it is not about whether electrons flow from negative to positive or the reverse (actually there is no flow if you really get into it - it's all about fields - it will break your head) but more about isolating the + positive wire from the rest of the truck which is all at - negative.
