Same. What's funny is I could see the light but my eyes didn't pick up the color like the cameras did. Haven't looked at what's on the real camera but this is probably as good as I got. Probably helps I was waaaay up in the mountains far from any light pollution.

 

We had to drive pretty far out of town to even get slightly dark enough. Same about not seeing it with the naked eye - I could see the vertical banding, but not pick up on the colors. I took that pic on my phone and was surprised at how much it caught. It only lasted a few minutes and then we didn't see it anymore.

 

We spent more time working out the details on the wings, but DOM is on and now to draw shit out on CAD and put the table back to work this week

It didn't last long for me either. Took a couple pictures on the phone. One caught the banding effect well.


Then tried the 7D.


Stirred the fire and it was gone. I've seen them a couple times and the cameras pick up the color, my eyes don't. Makes me question the pictures I see haha

I've been part of a bunch of forums and some of them moderate beyond the needs. I believe that if someone is a dumbass, you should tell them. Maybe they didn't know? Lol
