Come check out my ~300lb Vagabond/BAMF Drifter for short bed, it's for sale. $9,000 includes a ~10' run of double insulated Ancor marine 10AWG wiring to the driver bed cubby, Dometic CFX50 fridge/freezer, (new) spare GCI clamps, NOCO shore power connection, interior lighting, new-in-box 14" Maxxair roof fan, and other stuff I'm forgetting about.
    https://www.bayareametalfab.com/Drifter-mid-size-truck-bed-camper_p_197.html

Bonus of the Vagabond/BAMF Drifter over the competition is that you don't need a widdle wadder or disassemble the sleeping platform to get in/out of bed.

I'll take Judas as a down payment on the camper, but you'll need to talk to the bank about buying the truck AND camper (and fridge, snow chains, maxtrax, Dometic fridge, BedRug, .... the list goes on and on with everything you'd get).

Honestly, I'm hoping that the truck and camper are gone (together or separate) in the next 2 months so I can move on.

Judas is in fine mechanical shape. But he’s taken a beating. Just found that the driver door was sideswiped and the front driver lower valence is crushed.

Apparently the high school parking lot is like Mad Max.

I’ve got 5 Toyo Open Country AT3’s, size 235/85r16, ready for a new home! They were installed in January 2024 and have about 3,500 miles on them. I’m asking $850 for them.

Scangauge II that has been updated to the most recent firmware and has had the codes added for transmission temps and TPMS readings (1&2). Will work with most any ODBII compliant vehicle. $100

    The bad:
Could use a new cover; needs a new ladder (usable but not ideal); needs a small front screen repair. I have been using it with all of these issues for a while now and I've been fine. Additionally, the mounting holes for the mounting rails were damaged. I solved that issue with some cartoonishly-oversized washers. Again, usable.

    The good:

Feels like a private little abode. Very roomy. Extension acts like its own awning. Configurable for cold, warm, and hot weather. Roof windows to gaze at the stars. Gets a lot of attention if you want to meet people. Support from CVT. Great for traveling, camping, festivals of all types, and visiting in-laws. Comes with outdoor shoe bag.

I've had so many good trips and memories with this tent, but given traveling habits I want to try a new setup.

When you say “transmission temps” is that strictly for 3rd gens or would that also include 1st gens?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but...

Fairly confident from my research years ago that 1st gens don't have the same trans sensor on the autos as the 2nd and 3rd gens that scan gauge is able to tap into. I recall a thread on installing an inline sensor and gauge for 1st gens.

Manual trans does not have a temp sensor regardless of generation. I did a drain plug sensor and analog gauge on my 2nd gen manual.
