How do you know when the truck is level to check the transmission fluid? Where should you place the level?
Would the Nerf bars and rear bumper be a good place?

 

You are over thinking it.
If the ground “looks” level. That’s level enough.

 

It’s not rocket science. Step back 30 feet and take a look at it you’ll know.

I’ve always parked it in a garage or shop, which has a mostly level floor.

 

lmao, I put the truck on 4 rhino ramps and placed a level on the top of the tonneau. A floor jack was used to raise the rear of the truck about an inch.
