I don't think smart and Kane have ever been put together...

 

They won a 3-3 game in overtime when a puck went in off a Canuck defender's stick and into the net . What mission ?

 

Nice to see the Canes win one and live another day.

 

They haven't beat Van in 6 tries inarow according to Boomer and Jake on NHL radio so this 7th was important to get the monkey off their back. Much like Toronto did with finally winning a home game against Boston, and Boston with finally winning a game 7 after a couple game 7 losses the past playoffs ..you have to break-through at some point to advance.

Now with the Oil finally getting that 'W', they can move forward with confidence in this series.

The Mission is getting to the finals and winning .... look at how they started with losses to even the Sharks and were deep in the hole. Only to come back and damn near win the division. This team has a legit 'superstar' and his name will be on a cup whether this year or next, and maybe multiple. Vegas odds agree so place bets now.

Canes have a good team but NY has the mojo and will win cup most likely unless they run into the Mcmuffin on a mission !

For my non hockey watching knowledge..does the puck have to cross the red completely, just break the plane on the outside as in football, something else?
