How hard were these to install? How long did it take you and how much of your dash do you need to take apart?

I got all my info off of the Bambeds.com and the bambeds thread on here. I’m not 100% confident my guesstimates are going to work when I put the topper on as far as placing them in and out, I might have to take out the corners a bit more. I used 2 sheets of 3/4 sanded plywood at $55 each. A $19 jigsaw, circular saw and router. Split the 4x8 sheets into 2x8 sheets, cut 3 of them 56.3/4”x24” the extension is then narrowed to about 53” to fit thru the tailgate. The legs are like 10.5”x6” notched 3/4”x1” for 9.3/8” lift off the tailgate.

Figuring out the rockers attachments took some took some time! My sketch it too sketchy to share at the moment! I zoomed in on the IPad used a framing square to find the pitch (like 63/65* degrees maybe?) of the back board from the seat, and used a paper with lines to scale 1” increments to transfer what seemed like a 1000 points of reference to get the measurements then sketched a pattern on cardboard! I used a remaining scrap plywood 39”x24” to cut out the 2 pieces I think.

    Enough for now
all good to each their own, they work better than intended and I like the flare out to keep down mud/rocks off the sides. Were considerably less expensive than the C4s. Thanks for taking a look

Eibach TRD Pro front lift springs, ICON RXT option 2 rear leaf packs installed. I put plastic leaf spring liners between each spring and coated with teflon slray lubricant, so hopefully no squeaks for a good while.

I did some wet sanding to fix some mediocre paint work, it's not going great at the moment.

I don't mean to be that guy, but almost all oil companies will recommend changing the oil at least once per year or if you hit the mileage threshold (whatever you decide you want your interval to be) whichever comes first. 2+ years on the same oil gives it a lot of time to degrade especially if you're only running short trips.

Slipped and scratched while loading the bed. Not worried about the scratch, but seems like a tiny part went down to the metal. Looking for another opinion if it should be repaired or will be fine to leave. Thanks

Finally got up the nerve to cut up the front bumper. I think it turned out pretty good. IMG_5611.jpg IMG_5612.jpg image.jpg I didn’t want the cut that followed the front trim in towards the centre and up. so I tapered away from the centre and followed the cut line up.

What would you say the level of effort was on a scale of 1-10? Any other mods you have done that you would compare the difficulty level to? Looks great to me, well done.

    Thanks.
The only thing hard was committing to it and my OCD making sure both sides matched. It’s mostly all just marking, measuring, and eyeballing. Once you get that far it’s holding your hands steady while cutting. Took me all of 2 hours to do. Not very hard to do at all. Can’t really compare it to anything. You can only make it at as hard or easy as you can with how perfect you want it to look.
