WOW our warmest day yet at 73! Starting out sunny, then a cloudy afternoon. A great day to be outside soaking in the vitamin D!
My turn to put this week’s Muesli together. Kettlebell day! This afternoon the cleaning ladies show up, so that’s when I’ll definitely be outside.
Have a great day everybody and take care of yourselves!

Good morning, I have a hard time keeping up with the goings on here...apologies.
Relaxing weekend that wasnt supposed to be. BIG WEATHER came through on Friday up at the farm...knowcked out power and some trees around the area. Our power co-op isnt as reliable as it needs to be...but I suppose I need a generator. Anyhow...decided not to wait for powere to be restored, so I drove home to St. Pete and RELAXED! I needed some heavy sleep and got it.

Wonderful Mother's day with my wife. Church was awesome...message about Mothers. We all know they are special...yes! Great lunch in the city and then watched IRON CLAW. Meh...if you're into wrasslin' and the folks from the 80's you may like it. Poor acting...looks like it was rushed. Sad story about that family.
Big week ahead. travel to Cleveland for a couple days and then hopefully get some work done at the farm this weekend.
Happy Monday, all! Have a great week ahead.

A little something every chance we get.
:rain::notsure: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Never did get the promised rain yesterday - all well North. So, they rescheduled.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day time. I tried to be helpful and did the laundry, but the drain chose to be stubborn, and wifey had to use the carpet shampooer to clean up. I did make good burgers she asked for. Got some erranding, dentist for the crown finish, and get ready for mattress delivery tomorrow am.

    Good Morning :hattip:

Was at my Brothers house yesterday and couldn't believe how loud the Cicadas are . He lives about a half hour South of Nashville and his house has alot of trees on his property . The Cicadas are so loud you can hear them from even inside the house If the TV is not on

He also told me they started hearing them about two weeks ago and and the Cicadas are noisy 24hrs a day . I'm about 45 min NE of Nashville and only have heard them a few times

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

I've been way off schedule - we picked up our new puppy on Saturday morning so we're working on getting her settled and in a routine...and housebroken, too. She's been awesome - what a personality. Of course, she's getting more sleep than we are. lol

And, our 13 year-old black Lab, Duffy, is taking it all in stride.

    Morning all:

    Cute pup there Mark!

Enjoy the cicadas Chuck, looks like we are out of the zone here in the NE, BTW they make great bait for fishing.

Watched an interview yesterday with a young girl, probably in her early 20's, she said that grandmothers shouldn't be included in Mother's Day. o_O
I would bet that when she is a grandmother she won't think the same, maybe they will make a grandmothers and grandfathers day in the future!

She is beautiful! Labs and especially yellow lab puppies just melt my heart. She’s beyond cute. Prepare for the chewing and destruction.

That is simply shameful. My wife, God bless her soul, cherishes(ed) our mothers. But the 2 daughter in laws are so different. And sadly thats more common than not. We have a plague of princess narcissist.

On a good note, the weather was perfect in the central valley for mothers day. Hoping all had a Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers here on TW!
