What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I’d touch it up with something. I had a baseball hit my fender and it chipped the paint a bit. It didn’t take but 1 rain and the thing started rusting up. Here in Washington it’s hard to get rain free days to paint. But the moral of the story….id touch it up. I now have a bit of sanding to do. Forgive the dirty white paint, had back surgery and the truck has been sitting for a few weeks

 

Did you wrap this yourself? I’m looking to wrap mine here shortly once I can wash my truck and attempt to wrap it. Just had back surgery so I’m not able to bend and pull on things quite yet.

i've looked at the decked systems a few times. i feel they take up far too much space in the bed for the amount of storage space offered. seems to me, it splits the bed 50/50. 50% of the space is usable, with 50% taken up by structure to support the roll-out usable space.

 

bored over the weekend so I cleaned up my battery tray and bracket, then painted the oem bracket a nice shiny metallic silver.

 

How much lift you got going?

 

Over the past few days. Installed Greenlane 4x4 stump bumper, reconnected the winch. Cut the bumper up a little higher.

Trd lift in the front, ironman leafs in the rear. On 265/70/16, i was 37in in the front and 38in in the rear

Funny I’m on bilstein 5100 ome 686 up front, in the back the trd lift shocks, but no block toytec progressive add a leaf instead.
265/75/16. Looking to go to the pizza cutters.

 

That looks awesome. Do you have a link to the mount? I couldn't find it on the MESO site. And I'd like to protect my knees.

I really don't know what got into me, but my 60k oil change I tried the method of not using the drain nipple and save this step but created a big mess all over my floor and all over my skid plate top side that I had to clean up with a dozen paper towels. So my point, I'm going to keep draining it like I always have so I don't make a mess. Cheers. I think CCN has the advantage of having a professional oil catch, and hundreds of free clean absorbent shop towels at his disposal to smooth the edges of a messy oil change. Not for me.

Oil change complete. Casually waiting for a free weekend to attempt the spark plugs!!

 

I've only driven 4 miles with them on so far. Fit is pretty good, think I need some more seat time to be sure.
