Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I guarantee the Allen wrench snapped off on that bottom left bolt and it is stuck in there blocking it. You'll have to find a way to dig it out.

The bracket attached to the mirror riser has to be for some kind of light. With it mounted in front of the mirror, it can't be a phone mount or some kind of switch. It isn't easily accessible to the rider - so I'm going with a light of some kind.

Edit: the mount with two nuts on the mirror riser is to attach Yamaha handguards. See the pic below.

Aaah, thanks for solving the mirror mount mystery.

I'll try to get that out, but it's identical in color to the bolt. I can't imagine it's a broken tool. I've been wrong plenty of times, though.

I use a x-grip. Did you have the rubber band thing connected as well when your phone fell out?

And it looks like I am wrong. Shocking, I know.

Google image search shows its the SW Motech evo tank lock. Picks don't show the center of the bolt like that, so it's definitely something stuck in there. :annoyed:

I've never been interested in GPS on a bike. I don't like messing with electrical stuff. Well, this mount is already wired in.

I'll have to price check the unit to see if I want to put one on, or start tearing the bike apart to get it off the bar. I took a peak at the wiring when I pulled the tool kit out... it's not exactly pro work.

I had a lot of fun in Snohomish back in 1990/1991. Nice place with a few fun gals.

Well, unless something drastic happens I'll be listing it. I'll try to get a definite answer from the local interested parties ASAP.

Rest of the protection parts are on. Also got the LSK ABS dongle installed. If you have a 2020+ AT that you take off-road, it’s a solid investment.

I did not. Up until that point I'd never had any issues and didn't foresee any. Lesson learned. Once I learned about the Slip Grip mounts I really liked the idea that they were phone specific and the price was reasonable so I just switched holders and gave away the X-grip.

You'll have to see which Garmin Zumo fits that mount. It's quite possible it could be obsolete. I can tell that's not the mount for the Zumo XT or XT2 and it doesn't look like the older 660/665 series either as I had one of those and currently have the XT. I can see the 2 metal pins sticking up and to the right side of them the rubber cover that should be flipped over to protect them when not in use. You should really shut that cover. If the Zumo itself is no longer available that mount might have some value though. Garmin has a habit of changing their mounts and when they go obsolete riders are stuck with a good GPS but can no longer get a mount to put it on their bike if theirs breaks. I know of a few Zumo 660/665 owners who have bought the aviation mount and "adjusted" it to make it work on a bike.

Nice! Ivan’s a good dude as you already know. He flashed the ECU on my Yamaha Bolt and the bike ran phenomenal with intake/exhaust I had on. He remapped the fuel/ignition timing, increased rev limit, removed fuel cut, and whatever else… bike was super smooth after that.

I prefer the color scheme of the XD-4. I do like the helmet though. If I could get one.....it'd be full white :D

Oh lawdy, you are giving me the fizz. That FZ1 with how you are doing setup would be my ultimate hoon machine. Do you have a link to this ivan guy? My Super Tenere has a tune on it, but its very minimal as the person who did the tune didnt have the ability to do much other than throttle mapping and a few other tid bits. I would love to get a more comprehensive tune that changes closed loop fueling for better mpgs etc.

As mentioned those mounts are for the stock handguards, you can remove them if you wish, just make sure the thickness of the bracket isnt needed for the bolt to clamp properly.

Hard to see a peg in the bottom left bolt but if its the same color probably a snapped off allen key. Break out the Dremel tool and cut a flat head slot in it.
