Nope. Used to do all kinds of crazy shit, at this point I'm pushing my luck. I would be the one that ends up with an improperly packed chute.

Just found out an old friend killed himself yesterday. I hadn't heard that his wife had died about 2 months ago, I guess Mother's Day was too much for him. I wish he would've reached out, there were plenty of us who would've done anything for him.

All of this talk of eating healthy don't mean diddly squat. When after a hard day on the trails and back at camp when the pre dinner snacks come out. Then Kevin Bacon Burgers and other assorted delights.

    And nobody can deny it.

    You're not wrong.

But, those days are the exception. It's really all about what we do during our regular routine.

I'm definitely not the model of healthy living. But, I have been cutting back on some things.

I'm sur not perfect model either.
Soda drinking is pretty much gone.
Water has replaced it at work. Taking 2+ mile walks 4 days a week. Glad I have a job that keeps me moving. People at work know when I'm taking my exercise walk.

So sorry to hear this Rich. That's a tough thing to find out.

I think at this point the same applies to this group. Anyone here could always reach out and there's almost nothing we wouldn't do for someone in need.

Thanks everyone. What a bitch. Never would've expected him to off himself. So full of life. Raced bicycles @ 57 years old, won often. I'm told he completely changed when his wife died in Feb. Wouldn't talk to some people, just shut down. I hadn't talked to him in about a year, wish I had.

I’ve been doing my best to eat healthy, but damn, that’s an uncrossable line for me.

This... and u posted a doctor mike video!!! Awww... we could b friends. Lol

It's all cals in and cals out. And don't buy into the fad diets. U need carbs for energy and especially if ur trying to retain muscle mass. I'm down 22lbs this yr so far. Easier way than doing ALL the math is to just eat 10-12 cals per lb u weigh.

Most days for me... eggs and oatmeal, protein shake, chicken and rice, yogurt, nuts or peanut butter, fruit. It sucks. But I have a goal... so...

And yes, there r days I eat at a BBQ and pound beers. But most days have to b on the regiment. And know... I love to drink!!!

I never would have expected it when I was younger, but so do I. It was someone we had kind of cut ties with for awhile, but still difficult.
