I don't see the swaybar disconnect being used by many of the people opting for it. Might even cause issues when it stops working as intended. Not a bad option as I would want it on an OR but probably wouldn't ever use it.

I think that if you truly plan on being so “hard-core” that you don’t need a sway bar, you’ll remove it yourself.

The automatic swaybar disconnect became a thing with the Rubi and then every “hard-core” vehicle had to have one.

I would argue it once you modify vehicle for very serious off-road to use you probably don’t need a sway bar, but I’m guessing some retard 16-year-old kid would roll his 450 hp pick up and his DFW lawyer daddy would sue the manufacturer.

But if I’m not mistaken it was started with the Rubicon. And they adapted it for the power wagon’s front live axle. Probably the same tech since they’re both Mopars.

I’d be obligated to accept that reality only if I were about to pay way too much for a Pro, but that just wouldn’t be an intellectually honest argument. Doesn’t help that the Bison version is already widely acknowledged as a wildly overpriced version of the same ZR2 that I can get a discount on.

Jeep sold Gladiators for $70,000+ way back in 2019 so in 2024 they’ll easily sell every Pro and TH. But just because the Pro (and other trims) is an awesome truck doesn’t make the prices less of a middle finger to previous customers. Both are true.

Even the "not top of the line" ZR2 is better equipped and (for all intents and purposes) more capable than the Pro due to the drivetrain (two selectable lockers). Just my $0.02.
Both are fantastic trucks; can't go wrong with either, IMHO.

That DFW lawyer daddy probably sounds like the senior gentleman from SC all worked up on a morning talk show.

Speaking of Ram, I'm digging this OO 2500 needs a lift and a set of EVO course dakars. V8, 8spd and manual transfer case.

Chevy is phasing out AC/AA on their EVs not ICE vehicles (yet). Something to do with Apple making their own EVs. I’m all about bashing Chevy but this may be out of context.

Also those 3 articles are all about the Blazer EV. Where are the articles about them eliminating them from all the other models?

More like it was a massive failure for them.

Project Titan was a multibillion cash sink.

Interestingly, if you deep dive on all of these major tech companies abandoning electric car projects, you keep catching the familiar stink that these companies have been meeting with regulators who plan on unleashing cheap Chinese EVs into the American market.

    You should be very afraid.

    Those things are rolling firebombs

That's one of the great things about the USA; we all have choices. To some, a front locker is important. To you, it's not. People make purchases based on what they need. Manufacturers make vehicle with features that a whole host of people, from you & your needs to the guy several thousand miles away & his needs (which might be 180 degrees apart), might want.

How many people talking about the value of a front locker one way or another have ever owned a vehicle with a front and rear locker?...Hands anyone!

I happen to agree with this and has been my experience and observation as well. ..I would love to see a front locker and a rear that is selectable in 2wd.

Jeeps didn’t get factory front lockers until the early 2000s and then only on the Rubicons. Yes aftermarket existed but a lot of jeeps took on serious trails without a front locker for years.
While I’m sure there are some that use a Tacoma for aggressive rock crawling, it’s not the ideal platform. Get a jeep or bronco.
I’m surprised Toyota offered the SDM. Seems like a small niche of Tacoma users.
