I NEED HELP BEFORE I GO INSANE!
    2017 SR5 4wd completely stock 95k miles.
I have a cyclical hum/vibration occurring between 50-65 mph with it being most noticeable when cruising at about 63 mph. The vibration is not causing the whole truck to shake but can be felt very slightly in the steering wheel and floorboard. Vibration goes hand in hand with a cyclical hum that sounds like its coming from the front. If I lean towards the dash the hum is more clearly heard. It sounds like the needle bearing symptom BUT I've already install the ECGS bushing.

I've already install the bushing, replace LF CV axle, both front wheel bearings, all rear drive shaft u joints and center bearing, greased front u joints and have had tires replaced with no change to the hub/vib. I dont know if I'm hyper focused on it but it is driving me CRAZY! Someone give me suggestions please!!!

I had a rhythmic vibration when my front brake pads and rotors were nearing the end of their life. All new brake parts and cleaning/greasing the caliper guide pins made it go away....I also didn't use an impact to install the wheels, used hand wrench and a torque wrench to make sure I didn't warp the brand new rotors

Oops, forgot that on the list. Front brake pads and rotors were replace when I install new front wheel bearings!

I'm pretty anal about my lug torque and always install by hand.

I dont think so. If it was tire balance it would have changed speed or frequency when I put my new tires on.

While it would be a pain to do, I would remove the front driveshaft and see what happens.

From what you've given us so far, my best guess would be one of these 3...

    1. bent rim
    2. poor balance job
    3. one of the new wheel bearings is bad

If the new bearings weren't timken, that's where I'd put my money. Also, rotating the tires will tell you if it's 1 or 2. Vibration won't go away, but it will change.

    ETA:

    4. new CV axle is bad

Especially if it's not OEM. I'm overwhelmingly anti "Ermergahd only OEM" but in case of Tacoma CV's I make an exception. I've read of too many cases with almost immediate failure.

That’s a good thought……hadn’t considered a faulty new part. With that in mind, a shaft or wheel bearing g
