Anyone have any solid mechanic recs in the nj/nyc part of the state? Have a leaking rear axle, and recently moved to the area. Haven’t used a shop in years but not sure I want to do this job in the street…

I know I am not a known face on this thread, but Homer has asked me to reach out to ya'll on his behalf. For those who do not know, Homer lives in one of the coverage areas that I used to work in as an EMT. Last Friday he called me to talk about one of my old partners who had responded to his dad's house for a medical issue.
Unfortunately, I just got off the phone with Homer who informed me that his dad passed away today.

I am asking that you keep Homers family in your thoughts the next few days as they prepare to say their goodbyes. I'm sure when he has a moment to catch his breath he will reach back out. When I have further details on arraingments I will pass them along.

Mod's have been notified as well.

Anyone recommend any good places for alignments in North Jersey? My front passenger tire had big wear on the inner side when I rotated my tires
And a good place to get tires from in a few months? Noticed closest Discount Tire is in PA
