I'm kinda surprised that you're getting rid of your Tacoma... it's not very old.

Though I guess if you want to get the most money out of it, now's the time.
Could you elaborate on why?

I've often said that I'm happy with my 2nd Gen and am gonna keep it til the wheels fall off or I croak.

If I were to get anything else, the upcoming Toyota Stout looks interesting.
It's like the Ford Maverick concept, but done right (hopefully)





The initial engine options are supposed to be a naturally aspirated 2.5L 4cylinder and a turbo 2.4L.
The hybrid will come later, they're saying.

Hybrids are not at their best in rural areas like here.
Not much stop and go driving for regenerative braking to recapture energy.
Plus my mechanic friend is unsure about getting into servicing hybrids.
He says he hasn't got his head around them yet (he's a busy guy as it is).
He's adamant about not servicing EVs... ever
