    I'm out.
I've had 4 of these since '93. They go an easy 250K.
But, I won't go back to the 90's X-tra cab and not be able to easily get into the back seat as an "access cab"

Guess I'll try and keep this as pretty as possible and run as long as I can.
Save the big decisions for later.

Seems like a better deal, but as I've said 52k is too much for my blood on a mass produced utilitarian vehicle.

You may never buy another vehicle again if that's the case. They ain't getting any cheaper.

Maybe not another "new" vehicle again... but there will always be a vehicle(s) within someone's budget!

I'm in the same boat, in a couple of years, I was thinking of getting a new 2025 and giving my 2013 to my daughter when she starts to drive. However, given the new/high prices of these things, I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping my 2013 and just getting my daughter a smaller/cheaper car like a Subaru or something similar.

May be true, never bought used for a daily, but not against it. The mid-sized market jumped too fast too much IMHO. Maybe when/if the market crashed I can grabbed a slightly used from a "content creator" Bro.

So is the Xtracab not even happening this year? Is Toyota going to bring it out next year? Or are they just going to quietly disappear it?

Yes, the "Extra Cab" is with us, BUT it is not accessible through a door ! WTF ??

    No more "ACCESS CAB"
I do think it is a way for them to ease out of the offering.....

Nah, going full sized next, need more power and towing capacity than mid sizes can offer. I'll leave those for you

LOL my guy, that's a mass-produced, utilitarian vehicle. And you're definitely paying more than $52k for it.

In my case, I’m not giving GM any money, much less $52k.

Smart move. Not just because i own one, but from what ive heard about the 3rd gens, you gotta beat the crap out of them to make them do what the 4.0 can do without even trying. i hate the 3rd gen trucks. 4th gen, why a 4 banger in a truck and like what @TnShooter said, full size truck price. I love my 2015 Limited. Ill drive it till the frame wont let me anymore. I love the 2nd gen truck. Just to be up front, its the most bad ass mid size truck to exist. No offense to the 3rd gen owners, just my opinion. BTW, mines got 215k on it. I run mine hard. But I maintain it. I bought it used with 176k. No regrets.

My guy, you're right, it is massed produced. But they are A LOT more truck than a Tacoma or any midsize (I can do a comparison, but sure you can Google). Bigger, larger payload, a lot more towing capacity, you name it. You can have your mid-size for 52k o_O, I'll take the larger truck for 52k.

I don't want or need a new truck. I'm also not here contradicting myself.
