It is always the big one that gets away…but still great to get outdoors.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Now that I posted it... I'm going to have to bail. Wife's truck needs me to give it some love this weekend. And I need to finish my swingout.

Did you end up going with the tube style carrier you were talking about at KOH?

Went to gold lake 4x4….15 miles out, and couldn’t make it thru….to many downed trees. Big ones too….

so we drive around and found little lake, lower and upper sardine lake. Dope little spot…but I’m glad I just jumped up to 33” tires. Needed them to do the climb to upper sardine lake.

Flew out to Utah for a long weekend. Got some hiking in, linked up with @silvertep for whiskey and steaks, and ran into Sid at NHMU.

Awesome bro! I have a few days off and was planning on a one nighter either up the hill or to the coast.

Awesome area up there. Thanks for the trail report. This was last year on June 11 at upper Sardine. Looks like there is more snow left now than there was in early June last year.

Pretty good. The Midwinter Night's Dram was better, I thought. Bottled in Bond was damn good, too. Spicy.

This kind of thing is frustrating. Reservations 3 days in advance? Provide and remove your own waste/trash, and still pay fees? It's like the state parks charging $40 for a flat dirt plot and a shower that doesn't work :)

    Yup, this is pretty lame.
I stopped camping at Gold Lakes Campground a few years ago.
Same with state parks. But, to be fair I never really camped at state park campgrounds to begin with, lol.
The only way I camp at a campground is if there are no other options or I'm on a trip with a group who were already camping in a campground.
