    we are going to install a metal roof, but will have to fight with insurance because they’re only covering repair only and not replacement.

    Going to sign a contract tomorrow for $21k to replace my roof with a metal roof. Then after that gotta let the bank account bounce back a bit, and then it’s motor time. Hopefully motor by Jambo.

    I'll never go back to an archaic asphalt shingle roof again. Once they took all the ''evil'' good stuff out of them they have a lifespan of about 10 year IF you don't get high winds. A metal roof just goes ''meh, try again mother nature.''
