Well damn. I’m glad they got your BP meds straightened out and the brain scan is clear. RMSF is not something you expect to hear. Good luck with your treatments.

It isn’t exactly great news, but it’s great that it’s something identifiable and treatable. I hope it clears up fast!

Hey Marty I think you could get a job as a carpenter  you pull one thread and see what happens. You’re doing it right , might as well replace all the rot while you’re in there.

Wait, whut??? I've been type 1 since 1981 and never heard this, unless you are talking Somogye effect?
For the past 2 weeks or so I wake up between 3:25 and 3:28 and my brain simply launches into flight. About work. Then I read a little until I'm falling asleep again, put the book down, and the brain re-engages. Sometime about 4:45 I might fall back asleep, then wife's alarm goes off at 5:00
I attended a "class" on work burnout today, and I'm definitely in the NEEDS INTERVENTION stage.

Yeah that's gonna be a fun indoor project! Those are the best types!

On the RMSF: I wear tick gear all the time, use the spray, head cover.... Everything. Never even saw a tick bite this year. Had several ticks on me, none attached. Just goes to show: living outdoors in our woods can get ya Everytime.

My daughter pointed out that now I'm a "dot" on the map. Pic to follow.

OOh those wires are close to the tops of the joists. It never fails to amaze me when plumbers or other electricians drill in the top or lower 1/3 of the framing instead of the center 1/3- one of my pet peeves.
