Has anyone looked to see if the headlights are upgradable? To the day time running light model - only on trail Hunter listed and pro… Or like in 3rd gen they don’t run the wire to upgrade and you have to buy after market and run wire to fuse box….. thanks!

If you are talking about assemblies, then you are too early, the aftermarket headlights for 4th gen aren't out yet.

If you are talking about adding DRL in the turn signals housing like 3rd gen SR5 models, then you are able to. Someone can help you out on the wiring.

I don't have '24 model to test stuff with.

By the way, you have a '23 model that you want to upgrade? Or you wanted to know the '24 model can be upgraded?

Weird, my 24 has drl’s. I can run the ambers and fogs together or just ambers. Maybe that’s a difference between CAN/US models?

They do have DRLs in Canada which they have DRL law. Depends on the trim owner have, I mean SR5, in that case, DRL in the housing like 3rd gens. If OP wants actual DRL like the trailhunter, then I don't think it's possible for SR5 since they have different wiring diagram unless led strip can be added.

I could be wrong.. I have not tried that way yet.

I like SR5... but high beam in same spot as low beam?

I noticed DRL glass under the headlight in SR5 picture which is similar to Trailhunter.

I'll see what aftermarket vendors come up with for 4th gens...

    1. if you want to upgrade to the higher trim oem assemblies, it will be very spendy, probably 1500-2500 per headlight
    2. your best bet is to aftermarket for about 700-1500 for a pair (im guessing)
