Pulling weeds can be a finger-aching chore! lol

But when the ground is soft, the weeds and their deep roots come right out!

You, my friend...are doing work I would "contract out". lol

We had our kitchen remodeled and wood floors installed with our Mortgage ReFi/Cash-Out in 2021.

Now I'm cleaning wood floors with Bona cleaner using two mops: One with microfiber mop head (to pick up debris/pet hair) and another with Spray Mop contraption!

I mowed my lawn yesterday and then started to pull weeds. My landscaping guys just came and did all my flower beds but they’re already coming back up through the mulch. I did about 5 minutes of weed pulling and told myself I would do it tomorrow (today). Fortunately its raining now lol

Glad to hear weeds are being handled this time of year! lol

It lightly rained overnight and the yard is looking nice and green. :)

Wife and I bought more bird feeders yesterday and I put more weed/feed on the grass.

Good thing because it rained overnight.

It's a beautiful day to trek to the local Bavarian Bakery for some pastries/muffins.

Dang Ed, seems like you’re the only one posting here.

I talk to myself all the time...lol!

Every now and again, Collin will post...and John...and yourself.

Small group...but that's how it is.

I see the MD & PA threads have some daily replies...and sometimes NJ.

I'm sure people open this thread but don't post...I do that on various other thread topics...that's just how forums work.

Other than taking care of my wife today because of a stomach bug, it's been a resting day for both of us.

The yard is looking nice and green; we bought more bird feeders so our cats can gaze at them from the windows. lol

    Thanks!

She's feeling better and the anti-nausea tablets worked--she's on fluids and took tomorrow off of work.

I'm watching the FLA vs BOS game...3rd period...hopefully, it doesn't go into OT since I'll go to bed after this game.

I like either Canadian Team in the late game...but like the Canuck colors! lol

    Hey Delaware,

Missed posting yesterday...as it was my 3-year anniversary with my Sporty Truck! :)

Youngest daughter graduated/walked last night in Del Tech Georgetown, DE.

    Smart kid...Summa Cum Laude!

I bought her flowers/graduating teddy at the venue which was expensive but worth the smile on my daughter's face.

Wife was sick and couldn't make it...son-in-law has exams at Drexel so her other half couldn't attend...and eldest daughter & her husband couldn't make it.

So, Dad represented family and what a proud moment it was...dear daughter is a Vet Tech and already working!!!

Graduated from Drexel 53 years ago. Am I really that old?

    Thanks guys!

It's great to feel proud of your kids...heck, she's an adult!

Her elder sister will be 34 this month...and our graduate baby will be 30 in December.

We had our first young...wife was 19 and I was 23 going on 24 in 1990.

EDIT: Let me go to Amish Market and get some scrapple...it will probably go stale before anyone in our family eats it! lol
