Nothing is that bad, but still like $12 for a whammy, fries, and a drink these days.

One thing that makes me ok is I heard they give their workers full benefits.
You don't understand, you used to get a burger fried and a drink for like $3.

@Speedytech7 Off topic but are you running 12s with your 63 setup?

Thats what i was thinking about. I havent cycled yet but i know the droop is gonna be my issue (a good one). I was going to try to run my 10" kings still but I would need to reposition my lower mounts and id be limiting a lot of articulation. I was debating short body 7100 short body 14s. Again though. I need to cycle to see what my numbers are. Upper mount is already touching the bottom of my flatbed so Im gonna leave that where its at.

Good news that ive finally painted my frame from the boxing, upper shock mount V2, frame strengthening from when i built the flatbed in '21. Havent painted the flatbed yet though

Can those frame reinforcement plates be welded on without pulling the bed?

You could potentially throw a couple beads here and there. But to fully weld everything, bed needs to come off. Worth the extra 15-20 min too. Just need an extra set of hands to lift it off.

    This.

Totally worth pulling the bed off for welding anything underneath.

It's pretty light, just awkward due to its size.

I definitely thought removing it was a much bigger job than that

Just awkward hence it's a two person job; one person on each side and easily lift it up and over.

4 bolts (bed), 4 screws (Gas fill door ), Unplug your lights and detach the loom from the lip on the bottom of the bed. AAAnd lift.

If you have an engine crane, it is a one man job, or at least it always has been for me :p

Just did that for Dan's truck too
    [IMG]

You can find lots of good uses for this tool besides just engines.

Yeah was going to suggest that to @time623

I've never used one for such a job but see you do it often and easily.

Think I could just stick the hoist arm under my shell to lift that off too? Probably a couple straps too so it doesn’t fall off. It weighs just slightly too much for the gf to help me with

I've done exactly that to lift a shell off my truck, i used some ratchet ties to vice grips on the inner rail as a stabilizer too

I rarely eat fast food but if I do it's usually Carls Jr., seems like better quality than the other big chains. Or maybe I just let their pricing convince me of that lol.

Especially now with the min wage of those places being $20/hr, I haven't been to fast food since it went into effect (if it even has yet?)...but yeah cheap isn't really going to be something associated with big chain fast food anymore. I don't think it applies to the smaller chains or one-off kind of places.
