Alright, I know I'm not the only misforntunate bugger to be at work today, so chime in: where do you work/what do you do, and how long ya on 'till today(or tomorrow)?

    ------

 I work at AirFlite at the Long Beach Airport and I'm an Asst. Line Servie Sup. We're open 24hr/365 so honestly working holidays is nothing new to me or my family. I'm "working" my standard hours today: 0530 - 1400.

Yeah I'm getting paid decently (I think we're double time?), I'm off tomorrow and Saturday but only because they're my normal days off. I do get paid tomorrow with regular time pay which is cool.

haha suckers, i'm off for the next 5 days!

i know what its like working during da holidays though, it sucks da big one. when i was in the Army i used to volunteer to work so those who have family would get that time off. it was good working my shift cuz everyone would be waving me down while patrolling offering plates of food and what not.

I work 0800-1700 hours for the Fire Department. Get paid 2 1/2 times for the holidays. Then i'll still be on call after I get off! Well technically I don't have to respond to calls after my hours but hey, emergencies don't care about work schedules!!! Plus its good OT!;)

I work for Cummins, HVAC building maintenance....Just arrived at work to do a 2 hour building check today, then back to the regular 8 hours a day 7 days a week.

Yep pays real well, Disneyworld this spring here we come!!!:D Triple time during the week, double for the weekend all the way until Jan.5. Then back to the regular 7 days a week.
