Based on my interpretation of your lifestyle, I would also recommend looking into into a used (or new) wedge style camper, like a GFC or Topo Topper. You can find one for a few grand more than a used topper in many situations and allow you stand in the back, even with your height, as well as have a bed that would better accommodate your length.

 

Unfortunately, sleeping up top was vetoed, so we will need to make the bed work.
