What does the word "nobody" mean?
    Then do "not selling."

Seriously bro if you take the titles verbatim. You must be real fun at parties.

Despite the title he literally and other tubers show you a lot filled with unsold Tacomas, so yes clearly in those markets they are not selling.

OK. You win. We'll just ignore convention meanings of words in order to maximize drama and clicks.

Not arguing the misleading title and the meaning of the word nobody, just saying clearly they aren’t selling in some markets based on users here and seen discounts, lot visits etc. and as evidenced in those videos.

If the guy made a video titled "new tacomas not selling in certain markets" nobody would click on it.

The substance of the video is immaterial, all that matters is having a title that will draw you in. Doesn't matter if you watch for 5 secs or 5 minutes, the title does its job..

    That makes it click-bait

My local dealer here in Texas is one of the biggest in the country and they have quite a few SRs and SR5s available and a few Sports. But the more desirable models are mostly sold before they hit the lot. They currently show a dozen or so Off Roads in the pipeline and all but one of them have a sale pending while they are still in the build process, same with the Limited. People are buying these trucks, but some models more in demand than others. And in this case, what you see on the lot does not reflect what they’re selling because they sell most of them before they even arrive.

This is what I'm seeing on my dealerships website. They had about 1/2 pending sale when I looked about a week ago and they were the higher end ones. I realize the price for the new models is high. What I see is those who paid $40,000-$45,000 - 3,4,5,6 years ago will and can pay $48,000-$52,000 today while those who want or need to buy a more basic model are being priced out.

Seems like those that are trading their old Tacos in for the 4g are fine with the new pricing because they are getting a great trade in value. That would definitely make it easier to justify.

All these trucks that nobody is buying, does Hertz or another rental company buy these Tacomas? I doubt if Toyota builds 5k Tacomas specifically for Hertz.

They will just throw bigger discounts on them like they have on the tundras and or start offering more attractive interest rates.

And that's good. The market will set the price.

True ..bought my Pro Tundra in Oct 23 and still aren't really discounting them. Less desirable trims are being had up to 10% under MSRP.

    Indeed ...supply/demand is a thing.

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
All I can say is: I have had every generation of Tacoma since the mid 90's and none of them come anywhere close to my '24 TRD OffRoad Premium I just picked up. In any way possible. But that's just me...to each their own.
