I love it as I see it as another means of being able to get away from people.

 

I love it when its an option, not a requirement. Having to take a full cart of shit to self checkout sucks, but when I have like 3 things its the best.

 

And it's so much more efficient, especially if you only need to grab a few things. I don't buy into the BS that it takes jobs away from people, stores have plenty of other roles to fill that can be assigned to a few former cashiers. Not to mention they are still needed at the self-checkouts.

 

Oh yeah for sure, I do most of the big grocery shopping we need at TJs anyway and they don't have self-checkout. But they always have at least half a dozen cashiers or more working so the lines move quick even in peak hours.

Hate running into a grocery store to grab a couple things and then have to wait in a huge line for the one or two checkouts that are staffed. Self-checkout for the win

 

my favorite is not having to deal with the people that argue with the cashier over pennies or expired coupons, or need to write a check like it's 1985

 

Not to mention there's always one of those 15 minute parking spots always open so I always park there and it's up front.

I hate shopping with a passion so it's always a quick in and out for me. None of that "going through each aisle" bullshit

Shit I did put some weight back on, not sure where I am at but not as big as I was before the divorce. I didn't realize until I lost all that how much I had hanging around. But yeah I am not chucking down a ton of calories a day.

 

I don't think I could do that here unless I made plain rice and black beans lmao


which is usually dinner but I suppose I splurge on breakfast and lunch
