    the rail i added and the anchor points are 2nd gen style, the oem 2nd gens are crazy expensive, these are just like them and prob the company that made them.....found on ebay
    the metal nut part is square so has to be put on from the end of the rail

    Fishing rod holder. I couldn't find anything for sale that I liked so I cobbled something together. Can definitely make version 2.0 more attractive. A Hondo garage t-nut, a bamf universal mount combined with a broom holder, and a rod holder that was too large to be used as intended but works well for supporting the end of the fishing rod.

    I copied this mod…how did you route the wire? I’m recovering from back surgery so I put the light on and ran the wires and got it working but planned to route the wires and try to hide them better once I can bend and twist more.

    I’ll take a couple pics tomorrow in daylight. But basically routed wire between framework of hood. Came out at drivers side hood hinge. Then along edge of engine compartment under soft plastic that runs along the side of the engine compartment next to battery. Wiring can only be seen in 3 places.
