Can I clean my engine bay and power wash or steam clean my engine compartment? if so what products do you all recommend and should i cover my alternator an battery when doing so?

Ok, in the video it shows removing the battery, what happens to all the settings in my radio and all my electronics when i pull the battery? couldn't i just cover the battery?

+1 for amber lenses and chase lights. Or if no money spent is the desired outcome, make them aux backup lights.

 

Was going more towards this

 

Some auto stores will connect a low amp power supply to the battery leads when replacing the battery. This saves all settings in volatile memory.

 

Gunmetal does look nice. I scored them on marketplace and installed them on my 2nd gen. Before I bid farewell to the 2nd gen I removed them and had them refinished close to stock. I figured the shiny would pop. Best looking OEM wheel IMHO

 

Looks like new, but even better!

 

Met up with @K9tacoma and picked up some OEM pro tail lights. So much better looking than the ones with chrome that came on the truck.
