The Be All End All to Your Alignment (3rd Gen Edition)!

Got it, that's what I figured. Sometimes the laser leaves some slag or a miss cut edge on the parts. We just purchased a tumbler we're gonna start running all our laser cut parts through. Hopefully that will help with the issue.

 

Yeah we can I just need to design and print a 5/8 Bolt Cutting tool. That takes about a week to do.

 

Got around to treating the plates and cutting about 3/8 or so of the end of the threads off. I should have cut the threads after the bolt was back on the truck but I cut while the plates were drying. Just needed to be careful using the nuts to thread on there again since I don’t have a tap and die set.

Alignment was also done. The adjustments were made using the ball joint slide nut of the SPC UCA and the tie rod ends. This was the second sheet, took them a few readings/road test to get where it drives right.

Plus side, it’s been over 6 months since my truck has driven straight after an alignment

 

When we shank our bolts we spin them on a grinder to get a nice chamfer, then run a stover nut over it to fix up the threads. Works perfectly!

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Just hit 100k miles on the truck, with the last 70k or so having a lot of hard wheeling/testing the limits of my truck (Being dumb) on it. Time for a front end rebuild.

They do, not sure where you saw they wont? You just need to modify them a bit to fit.
