Added simple seat belt extensions. Now I can check the mail, drive in the back pasture, orchard, etc. without the awful beep.
Yes, I always buckle up when I am on the public road. Not on my property, I am in and out of the truck all the time.

worked at a few dealerships any time I got a chance to do any seat belt work id cut the buckle off and kept them for such reasons like moving a car around the lot, or similar. but i was so glad i could turn that beep off on the 2nd gen.

Mine was 2005 and I do not think I ever figured out how to turn of the ding.
I could not do it on the 2022 either, so seat belt extenders it is!

Can do it with Techstream, or just yank out the speaker on the back of the gauge cluster. One of my favorite mods since de-speakering also removes the door open beep which is beyond obnoxious. :D

Nice for when the dog rides in front and triggers the weight limit on the passenger seat.

    My top 3 are:
    • Reinstalling my Tonneau Cover that the dealer slapped on there. They did a crappy job and it filled the bed with water and dust. Also drilled and plumbed the drain tubes through the bed. Total cost was free but I will be adding a tailgate seal soon.
    • Moving my ham radio over from the old truck to the new one.Only cost me a fuse tap and about $60 for antenna mounting hardware.
    • Honestly - The plastic dividers for the glove box and center console are by far the most bang for the buck spent

Honorable Mention to the BFG ATKO2's I'll be putting on when the stockers wear out. I know that $1,200 isn't cheap but I'll be replacing tires at that point anyway, so I'm only counting the cost of the upgrade to the KO2's over the replacing with the same as OEM / Stock that came with the truck. Massive performance improvement for only a little coin. But I haven't done this one yet.

Replaced the old bed lights . Took all of 5 minutes and they work great . Put the old ones on ebay and they were gone the same day .

Took 3M double sided tape and mounted the garage door opener to the button panel above the rear view mirror. Too bad the 2019 SR5 didn’t come with programmable garage door buttons. Now it’s out of the way but still functional.

I must be the only person who just deals with the beeping of no seat belt buckle until it goes away...either for my dog or a passenger stretching out on long road trips.

You guys know it eventually goes away after about 30 seconds to 1 min right? beeps one speed, goes double time, then stops.

Not sure if it's different across model years/trims, etc... but I had a buddy one time REFUSE to put on the seatbelt on an entire Turkey hunting trip. It would beep, wait a minute, angrier beeps, stop for ~3-5 minutes and then repeat haha I am not sure if it would ever stop. You do get decent pauses tho, because I remember thinking that maybe we outlasted the beeps this time and then it would start up again LOL
