What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

There's no scrapyard near you? I'm sure your LC could handle a trailer with 2,000 pounds of scrap...

How much can your LC tow?

 

Most I've ever towed was 7000lb but officially the US spec is 5500lbs. Though in Europe and Japan it's good for just shy of 8000lbs

 

Add "hot tub cover" to the list of random of shit I've hauled for family, friends, and neighbors. In this case, it was Ryan, the same friend/neighbor who installed my stereo and first backup camera almost 8 years ago! He has a Range Rover now, and this wouldn't have fit; I was paid $40 for a roughly 14 mile roundtrip...

 

Why is that?

 

Difference in regulations be my guess since the drivetrain and brake equipment is the same. In Japan they don't rate hitch systems the same and in the US this was only ever offered with a class III hitch from the dealer.

 

I got a grill from Gwyn and Amanda's neighbors the other day...

 

Then I found this stuff sitting curbside in front of someone's house...
