What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Anyone buy a new rack recently? What’s the new spot to pick one up at? Most I’ve been finding are around $600-650 after shipping/tax

not really more of a baby squat, it’s very little that’s squatted

 

Driving to work this morning! A hair over 15k in the 8 months ive had this one new control arm bushings (whiteline lower, moog upper, and new cam bolts) coming in today hopefully to clean up the bad brake shake and shake over 65mph

 

Got bored and started an easy cosmetics job. Pulled off my window trim outer seal. All of the (what I assume use to be rubber) coating was peeling off so I scraped it off and went to town on the aluminum piece with Scotchbrite.


As much as I like the look of brushed aluminum I’ll end up painting em. I don’t have anything else silver/ brushed on the truck to match

 

Just buy a new one they are like $30 ha

Yeah looks like the set is about that much now huh, was $30 a piece a couple years ago.

 

1st gen stuff is getting harder & harder to get. I got lucky and got another set of oem tundra CVs. Talking to the parts guy though he said they were on international backorder.

Swingout remodel project is nearing completion.

 

Looks great brushed but agree better painted. Was about to do this too and thought of using undercoating or just flat black.
