Had to pay to have it put on the Prius after its cat was stolen. You'd think State Farm would have covered some of it or given me a deduction on my premium but no....

Not only that but State Farm has now implemented a limit on how many stolen cat claims I can make. It's like they want to take my money for "insurance coverage" but not provide insurance coverage.

Yes. That's exactly how insurance works.

I asked them on the phone yesterday why they were stalling and dragging their feet on paying for the calibration and testing the seatbelt and ABS system on the car in the shop. I directly said “are you more focused on protecting profits at the risk of paying out millions of dollars in medical claims when the seatbelt fails to work and the airbags don’t go off in an accident?” No response.

these are required procedures according to Toyota, the manufacturer of the vehicle. State Farm finally said on the phone that their adjusters decide what is related to the accident. I asked them if their adjusters are certified mechanics, Toyota employees, mechanical engineers or physicists that understand acceleration and deceleration. “Oh they have mechanical knowledge”. Cool, so some untrained desk jockey decides whether or not the airbags need to be checked, not Toyota.

You can tell them your buddy Madjik Man also has "mechanical knowledge" but the fuck if he's making any decision like this.

Tomorrow may be a “hangover” day… partner is having cluster headaches tonight, so we’ll see how she’s feeling in the morning and how far I get from the house.

There was once a time when you couldn't find 4 matching spare wheels to save your life.
Now you can't give them away. :notsure:
I have one too, free, from 2006, tire is new but old as fuck. 16"

they also bolt right into a 2nd gen and provide an extra 1” lift up front over a 2nd gen specific suspension. I have a set of these off a 2020 on my 2015
