How much rake do you have on your truck? With a full tank of gas my driver side was only showing 1.75” of rake and passenger was 2.0”. If you upgraded wheels, the 285s are a great option, stock wheels might be too narrow for 285s.

Think the sr5 has more rake than all the others...
top of front tire to bottom of fender is 7", top of rear tire to bottom of fender is 9"
    so 2" rake...
Wescott is claiming a 2.5" lift in the front but may be a bit less from what im hearing...
    Peak is claiming 2.25"
Ide rather have it a fuzz higher in the front than the other way around....
We’re not talking anything major like a Carolina squat..
    Think we’re talking 1/4-1/2”….
Ill post a pic, of 4wheel parts out here in san diego just installing the front portion of the westcott lift....
A 1.5" level kit will still have "factory rake"...
The silver truck has front and rear portion of the Wescott lift installed, obviously still has rake in the rear. No thank you…
Ive spent lots of time digging doing my DD which is tough as you cant readily see various lifts put on these trucks in person all at 1 location & first hand see them...
Recently seen the 1.5" readylift leveling kit on 2 trucks at my dealer, not for me...

Heres a few videos of the blacked out stock wheels with 285's...
Not sure if there will be more tire roll on the narrow wheel....???
I hate "body roll" & sway.......
    The wheels dont look bad!!!
Like I said, I wouldnt plasti dip, especially right over the lugnuts.....:frusty:
Going to look like crap in no-time, & stuff doesnt come off as easy as the claim using thin coats....
Yeah, Ill probably just get methods...
BUT, in my opinion, doesnt look half bad....
    on the cheap!
He paid $150 a tire & they appear to be "may pops" from the reviews I read on Amazon....

Those wheels actually look pretty good in black! I’d definitely look hard at some 255s if I went that route.

Terrible picture I know but here is my SR5 with 285/70R17s on stock wheels. I can get better pics if anyone is interested. No lift, no rub, no issues and rides better than the stock 245 Firestones

This actually looks pretty promising. Granted I think they could do with maybe -25 more offset (so like +25 offset wheels). That seems like it would put the edge of the tire right at the edge of the flare. I think the sun is helping them in your pic. Got any more pics/angles?

Here are a couple more I took this morning. Still not the best but hopefully this helps. The front is pretty close to flush with the fender, the rear sits in a little bit but still close

Underground is a sweet color! And the SR5 wheels are actually decent looking once you get the little street tires off :)

Can anyone confirm for certain what the stock SR5 wheel width is, 7" or 7.5"? I see a lot of 285s going on them, but they're typically minimum rated for a 7.5" wheel.

    Hello all,
Can anyone confirm that the suspension height of the TRD Sport is the same as the TRD Offroad?

i have a sport and some method 703 +35 offset on order and wondered if I can fit some 33 tires on there like all the TRD OR people are doing

I just hope there would be no rub on a sport is there is none on a Offroad

I can’t confirm, but even if the heights aren’t the same they would be very close. I’ve got 33s on +20 wheels on my Off-road and I have a good amount of room still. +35 shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Not to much louder than the general grabbers. Seem to ride nice and quiet.

Seems like the Westcott Designs lift is really popular for the 4th gen.

They recommend a 34” tire for the kit, but they are significantly heavier than a 33” or 285/70/17.

Anybody have the kit with 33’s or feedback on power loss with 34’s??

Love how much it looks like a completely different truck, but I mistakenly read the specs on the wheels incorrectly prior to purchasing and now im rubbing on wide turns.

Ordered the Westcott preload lift and will probably have to do some trimming to alleviate.

Also decided to leave the center caps off as I thought it was too much branding. Was thinking of either spray painting it black or adding vinyl to cover it up. Has anyone done anything similar and have any other suggestions?
