Buddy of mine had a busa He had it set up as a sport tourer. Damn bike was comfy and fast. I've never seen someone setup a busa like that before. He was like @BkerChuck traveled all over the place.

The winner of the 2021 Iron Butt Rally was on a Busa. One of the most incredible long distance set ups ever. So much custom work and most of it one of a kind. What looked like a second muffler on one side was actually a hydration system where the end cap unscrewed and the faux muffler could be filled with ice and water so he had drinking water while riding. The mirrors had Clearwater driving lights molded into the backsides for more lighting at night. Auto chain oiler, aux fuel, and more. Mike Brooks if you want to Google it.

My reflashed Ivan ECU is showing up today for the FZ1. Can’t wait to try it out but in the great PNW fashion it’s going to rain all day. Going to have to wait until tomorrow or Monday. :rain:

T-Rex frame sliders arrived for the 13 FJR. Whole 15 minutes to install. Rainy here this morning so test ride can wait. Got free tickets to the Hot Wheels monster truck event in Reading, PA tonight so going to that. Classic Motorcycle Day tomorrow in Mt Airy, MD.

I really wish I liked the look of the T-Rex bars on the ST. They make high quality stuff, but the ST bars are just hideous to me. You have any pics on the FJR so I can judge them?

The sliders I went with are the simple version not the cages. Not sure they're the sit you would want on the Super Ten. I will take a few pics though and post them for you.

Here is one pic of my 2014 where you can see the T-Rex sliders.

I put the same sliders on the 2013. They're the sort of oblong shaped black with silver piece in front of the stator cover.

OOOOH I totally misunderstood slider as crash bars because T-Rex puts the sacrificial slider pads on the bars.

I figured as much. I could put the larger cages on the FJR and have many friends who have done it but those tend to make some maintenance chores more difficult such as doing a valve check or adjustment. They make a second loop style bar to protect the saddlebags on the FJR but they can take away from passenger legroom.

And the lines on the FJR are so pretty that bars, even well done, might detract form the looks.

Here's a video about Arai and how/why they do what they do. I already loved my helmet, but I'm halfway through this video and I love it even more.

I just like the look thooou lol
That is possible they have other variations that have better air flow. I'm mainly wanting one that looks like it tbh. I don't like the standard helmets they look goofy to me

Maybe look into Ruroc? I got a buddy who rocks one and it’s a similar unique style, but maybe even more what you’re looking for.
