Wife and I went and test drove a 24 limited 4x4 SB. I’ll say, it’s a lot nicer inside than I was expecting. It rode really well and felt like it had plenty of power and torque. Wife liked it as well. The inside trim has some textured type thing going on which was really nice and automatic steps. I think the steps are standard on all limiteds. Seats felt a lot more comfortable than the 3rd gen seats and the ventelated function is much better than on our grand Highlander.
The moon roof and small sliding window in the back were nice. While the back window looks odd from the outside, the inside it looks right.

I did not buy it, didn’t want silver and want to wait to test drive a 6th gen 4R still be a while.

I think it’s just there for show.

Wow, that sounds pretty nice. It seems like everyone pretty much agrees that the 4th Gens drive really well and have plenty of power compared to the 3rd Gens. Except for the few complainers who are never satisfied lol

    Right??! lol.

my wife liked it. Asked if it was a v6. Plenty of get up and go.
Maybe if I can sell all the upgrades I did to my 2020 it’ll cover some of the hurt of the trail hunter

The 4th gens are nice. Just so expensive for what you get.

But Toyota seemed to nail the design.

I would hope that maybe one day the price of the 4th Gen will come down once they spend months sitting around on lots, but maybe they will just keep going up instead lol, who knows these days.

Ha, I’m undecided what I want to do about my truck so I’m not spending money unless it’s maintenance

I think my wife is on board with me getting a 4th gen or 6th gen 4R after I test drive it.

though the Everest looks kinda teal… which makes me sad and she is not a fan of the bronze oxide. Need to see both in person

After driving the past couple gens V6's the new turbo 4 is life changing despite the naysayers.

If it looks as good in person as I hope, that might make it the choice over another Tacoma I think the only difference is the back, either a bed or extra covered space.

If the 25 Tacoma is offered in green then it’ll be a tough choice lol.

The dealer had a Land Cruiser I looked at too. Someone else was getting ready to drive it and then it had a 10k mark up on the sticker so we kept walking.

Wow, a 10K markup?? Was the Land Cruiser bigger in person than a 4 Runner? I still haven’t seen a new one in person.

Without seeming them side by side, I think it’s a little smaller. Or seemed that way. I think I posted the stats here somewhere. I’ll see if o can find it again.

    It might be height wise
I would have but the boxes were rated for 6 lbs and those lights were 2 or so. Any heavier yea.

The splices needed to be made in a junction box. The fixture canopy does not qualify
