Toyota really puts the screws to owners who opt out of them spying on you by denying you services that don't necessarily require them to track your every move. Ask yourself why all this data collection is so necessary in the first place?

Sounds like a load of bull to me, I didn't ask for any services when I bought the truck nor did I expect any. My Tacoma is registered to me on the my toyota website and any recalls are listed there and they also mail me a notice.

My warranty is active and nobody at the dealer said boo to me when I brought it in for the weld spatter recall, they just thanked me for buying a Toyota.

Please list what "services" am I missing out on by not playing the big brother game?

 

Framed in a solar panel for the canopy. Not finished with it yet. But it will be hinged at the front in order to angle it appropriately when set up at camp. It will be wired to a bluetti power station when all said and done.

 

Is that fragile?

 

I wouldn’t want rocks thrown at it but I’m by no means the first person to do it. Got the idea from “tinkerer’s adventure” YouTube channel. He offroads harder than I ever will and seems to be working out fine for him. time will tell.

I don't think that's possible with oem. I believe morimoto aftermarket leds do that, but they're subpar to oem for light output and not recommended.

First weekend without two days of rain, so hooked up the trailer and went to mow the property. Grass was almost waist deep.

Highly recommend the Hustler Raptor. That little thing is a beast.

 

Ugh…I dread it, but hopefully next weekend when I can finally do some mowing…been so wet and grounds still squishy for my area. I’m watching my fields go crazy with all this rain. The wet grasses are all laughing at me

 

Finally got around to getting tint. Pinnacle 25% on the front and 50% on the windshield. This is the 1st time I’ve had ceramic and the windshield done, with my polarized sunglasses colors are a little off. The sky looked aqua and purple today. Didn’t have time to wash it this week so it’s a bit dirty by my standards.

 

I gave my dirty taco a bath.

I used this grease gun from Harbor Freight with the coupler that came with it on my 2019 and didn't have any issues, wasn't much wiggle room but it worked fine. Fingers crossed it works on my 2023, will know in a few weeks.

 

I just used a flexible straight connector. I did take off the small heat shield which made it 100x easier.

 

These windshields crack faster than any I’ve had in the past. If you get a chip you almost have to get it filled immediately. I got a chip on the way to work, after my shift it had already spread from a chip to 16 inches. The next week same thing happened. Glad I hadn’t gotten the windshield repaired between chips.

 

I gave mine the day off.

 

I haven’t driven mine since April 28th and I miss it. Had back surgery and have been driven around by my wife in her 4Runner. Looking forward to driving it soon though!

I was at the dealer for LOF and the thing caught my eye, but didn't hold it long when I thought of the payments....

Guess I'll install those Firestone Airbags this week that I have on the bench and see what the next 136K brings.

 

I agree....I'm on #4. Windshield guy says the glass is softer (?)
